There is no official check-in times for a venue, it would be determined by the start time of the event/conference.

4.4 All amendments / cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
4.5 No shows will be charged in full.
4.6 Refunds are at the General Manager's discretion.
4.7 Failure to adhere to any of the booking or deposit deadlines, entitles the hotel, at its sole discretion, to automatically release the function / event.
4.8 The Cape Grace Hotel reserves the right to change the deposit policy and to amend the cancellation clauses during special events resulting in extreme demand.
5.1 No advertisement, notice sign, decorative flag, emblem or device referring to the group may be attached to or displayed in or about the interior of the hotel without prior approval of the Hotel. It is at the sole discretion of The Cape Grace Hotel Management team to allow such signage, and should it be so approved the display thereof can only be displayed upon arrival at the hotel. The same applies to any external advertisements
5.2 The client remains responsible for any damage caused by the client and / or its’ guests, whether in the rooms or in any part of the Hotel and undertakes to make good or pay full restitution for the repair which would include any material damage to furniture, fixtures or equipment
5.2 Nothing shall be affixed to floors, walls, ceilings or columns of the allocated rooms by screws, nails, drawing pins, tape or any other means or be suspended from the roof or ceiling of the room
The performance of this Agreement by either party is subject to acts of God, Government authority, disaster or other emergencies, any of which make it illegal or impossible to provide the facilities and/or services for your group stay. It is provided that this agreement may be terminated for any one or more of such reasons by written notice from either party to the other without liability.
7.1 Complimentary parking directly in front of the main hotel is offered- however this cannot be guaranteed. The parking is based on a first come first serve basis. Should for any reason parking not be available, guests will be redirected to the paid parking facilities at the V&A Waterfront.
7.2 It is important to note that all venue hire, activities and Food and Beverage prices, that have been quoted in this document (unless otherwise stated), are based on current prices (2017) and are subject to change on an annual increase basis, without prior notification. Prices cannot be guaranteed, due to annual inflationary and producer price increases.
7.3 All venues and services quoted are subject to availability at the time of enquiry. Original venues held may be changed and the Hotel reserves the right to do this. However, the Hotel shall endeavor to provide the Client with a venue equal in quality and comfort.
7.4 Kindly note that prices on hired goods are subject to change without prior notification.
7.5 The Cape Grace Hotel reserves the right to approve all items intended for exhibition, signage or display requested by the Client.
7.6 No food or beverage may be brought into any venues by the Client for consumption on the premises.
7.7 Cake however may be brought in with prior arrangement with an applicable cakage fee
7.8 Wine, Champagne and Sparkling wine may be brought onto the property at a corkage cost.
7.9 No spirits or minerals may be brought onto property.
7.10 All prices include VAT and are subject to change without prior notification. All food and beverage charges incurred for a Conference or Banqueting function at The Cape Grace Hotel are subject to 10% service charge.
7.11 String quartets, solo guitarists, singers, 3 piece bands (at a max) and DJs that have controlled sound levels are encouraged. Music cutoff coincides strictly with function termination, and must be approved and authorized by Cape Grace in advance.
7.12 All menus and wines chosen are subject to availability. Wine vintages may vary dependent on the wine estates availability.
7.13 The Hotel must be given prior written notice of the intention of a client to employ a third party(ies) and the Hotel reserves the right to object to the employment by Clients of any persons in connection with any function.
7.14 Rain plan or inclement weather venues are allocated subject to availability and at the discretion of the Hotel. All rain plan venues are tentative – and hence subject to change without prior notification.
7.15 The Hotel shall not be held responsible for loss or damage to any property or any item of equipment, furniture, and stock or like brought onto the premises by the Client or its guests.
7.16 The Client shall be held responsible for any damage caused to the contracted venues, and the furnishings, utensils and equipment therein, by any act of the Client or its guests, and shall pay the Hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.
